Reverse description Laureate and draped bust of the Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in a bold, somewhat provincial style consistent with Bosporan workshop production; the laurel wreath is rendered with individual leaf clusters, and light drapery covers the left shoulder. Below the truncation, the Greek date letters ΗΝΥ appear in the field, corresponding to the Bosporan regnal era year 458 (162 AD). On certain die varieties, a spear is depicted diagonally before the bust, its tip directed upward, functioning as an auxiliary mint symbol within the dotted border.
