Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Eupator facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with finely striated hair drawn back beneath a royal diadem; the drapery falls naturalistically over the left shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ΒΑϹΙΛΕΩϹ ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟϹ, disposed around the bust within a dotted border. On certain die varieties, a Heraklean club appears in the left field before the portrait, serving as an additional symbol of royal authority.
