Obverse description Athena standing facing with head turned to left, wearing crested helmet, aegis, and draped garments; she extends her right hand holding a spear upright and supports a large round shield on her left arm. An ankh symbol appears in the lower left field, serving as a secondary device characteristic of the Lapethian coinage under Phoenician cultural influence. The figure is rendered in fine archaic-transitional style with naturalistic drapery folds.

Reverse description Nude Herakles striding vigorously to the right in a dynamic, fully athletic pose; his muscular body is rendered with considerable anatomical detail in the late archaic tradition. He raises a knotted club in his outstretched right hand while his left arm extends outward holding a strung bow. A vertical Phoenician inscription occupies the right field, reading the name of the dynast Demonikos. The energetic composition reflects strong Hellenic artistic influence adapted to the bilingual coinage of the Cypriot kingdom of Lapethos.
