Reverse description Nike, goddess of victory, standing to the left in flowing drapery, her wings fully spread behind her. She extends her right hand forward to present a wreath, while her left hand holds a tall palm frond, symbols of military triumph. At her feet, to the left and right, appear monograms serving as mint or magistrate control marks. The royal inscription ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ, reading 'of King Demetrius,' is disposed in the field, identifying the issuing authority in characteristic Hellenistic fashion.
