Obverse description Facing Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, its characteristic concave form prominently displayed with deeply incurved sides and symmetrical cutouts at left and right. The shield's surface is smooth and convex, occupying the full width of the flan, with the curved rim and lateral notches sharply defined. The design is boldly executed in the typical archaic-to-classical Boeotian style, with no legend or additional devices in the field.
