| 正面描述 | Highly stylized Celticized Apollo-wreath design derived from Macedonian stater prototypes, rendered in abstracted curvilinear lines forming a series of interlocking arcs and whorls across the flan. The wreath motif is crossed by linear frames composed of straight parallel bars. The ruler's name VOLISIOS appears divided across the design field, set between three horizontal lines in a distinctive tripartite arrangement characteristic of the Corieltauvian 'P' type. The overall design reflects the Late Iron Age British Celtic artistic tradition of progressive abstraction applied to classical coin imagery. |

VOLISIOS DVMNOCOVEROS is one of several paired-name issues from the Corieltauvi, a tribe occupying what is now Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, whose late coinage is unusual in appearing to name two individuals — possibly a king and a subordinate authority, or joint rulers, though the precise political arrangement remains unresolved. The 'P' classification in this series distinguishes it by specific die characteristics within the broader Volisios group, which also includes issues naming DVMNOVELLAV NOS and CARTIVEL LAVNOS as the second figure.
