| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded head of Zeus facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing locks of hair and a full beard. The portrait is boldly struck in high relief, filling the flan, with finely engraved details in the hair and beard. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, characteristic of hand-struck Pontic coinage of this period. No legend appears on the obverse. |
