Obverse description A bearded male deity, likely Zeus or Baal, seated in three-quarter view on an ornate throne, rendered in high relief with finely detailed musculature. The figure is crowned with a wreath and holds a long sceptre or staff in his left hand, with a large palm frond rising behind him to the left. Aramaic script appears in the right field. A beaded border frames the design along the upper rim.

Reverse description A lion in vigorous motion attacks a bull from above, seizing it with powerful claws; both animals are rendered in bold, naturalistic high relief. Above the lion's head appears the letter Beta, likely a mint or die control mark. In the lower field, a crenellated city wall or fortification is depicted in stylised architectural relief, possibly representing Tarsus or another Cilician city. A sceptre or thunderbolt is visible in the upper left field. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
