| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in high relief with naturalistically detailed hair falling in short locks across the forehead, consistent with official Roman imperial portraiture. The effigy is positioned centrally within a plain border, occupying the majority of the flan. The portrait exhibits the idealized but individualized style characteristic of early Julio-Claudian coinage as adopted in the Bosporan Kingdom.
