| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, stands facing left in three-quarter view, rendered in bold relief. She is depicted wearing a chiton and holds a ship's stylis (naval standard) in her right hand raised forward, while her left arm rests at her side. Her large, finely detailed wings are spread symmetrically behind her. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field. A mint control symbol (a thunderbolt or similar mark) appears to the lower left of the figure, consistent with the Tarsos mint attribution under Price 3008. |
