In her extended right hand she holds a wreath, and in her lowered left hand a stylis (naval standard). In the left field, a griffin seated left serves as a mint or control symbol. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ appears in the right field in incuse Greek characters, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander. |
