| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and a decorative coiled serpent on the bowl, with curling locks of hair visible beneath the helmet at the nape of the neck. The portrait is rendered in fine high relief, characteristic of the masterful Macedonian die-cutting tradition of the late 4th century BC. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend, the entire surface dedicated to the imposing effigy of the goddess. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of Victory, standing facing left in flowing chiton, her large wings spread behind her. She extends her right hand forward to hold a wreath, while her left hand grasps a naval standard or stylis. A small figure of a prow or naval trophy appears at lower left in the field. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right side of the field, reading downward. The composition is characteristic of the canonical Alexander stater reverse type, rendered in bold, confident relief. |
