Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four recessed compartments by raised diagonal ridges meeting at the centre, forming a swastika-like pattern; two of the compartments display finely striated surfaces while the remaining two are left plain, a technique characteristic of early archaic Greek coinage. The incuse is deeply struck and sharply defined, occupying nearly the full extent of the reverse flan, with no inscription or additional device present.
