| Reverse description | Within a deeply recessed incuse concave circle, an amphora stands in the lower field. Above the amphora, a crossed club and bow are depicted in the upper field, serving as emblems of Heracles. The ethnic legend BO-IΩ is inscribed across the field on either side of the central device, identifying the issuing authority as the Boeotian League. The entire composition is contained within the characteristic incuse square or concave circular depression typical of early Greek silver coinage. |
