Reverse description A nude slinger stands in three-quarter view facing right within a dotted square border, his body in a dynamic pose with arms raised as he prepares to release his sling overhead. A triskeles symbol, the three-legged rotating motif, appears to the lower right of the figure. The ethnic legend ΕΣΤFΕΔΙΙΥΣ, the archaic Greek rendering of 'Aspendos', is inscribed vertically along the left side of the field. The composition is bold and energetic, characteristic of the accomplished die-cutters active in Pamphylia during the fourth century BC.
