Reverse description A horse standing to the right in full profile, rendered in a naturalistic Hellenistic manner with musculature carefully delineated. The animal is depicted without a rider or bridle, with its tail hanging naturally. The ground line beneath the horse is plain, and the field is otherwise unadorned. No inscription or exergual legend is present. This motif is characteristic of Carthaginian electrum and gold coinage of the Barcid period.
