| Descrizione del dritto | A nude male figure, possibly a deity or hero, kneels in a dynamic running pose to the left, straddling a large tunny fish (tuna) which serves as the principal emblematic device of Kyzikos. The figure is rendered in archaic Greek artistic style with considerable vigor, shown leaning forward with arms extended. The tunny fish is depicted in profile below the figure, oriented horizontally across the field, its characteristic forked tail clearly articulated. The entire composition is set within a plain circular field on the characteristic irregular flan of Kyzikene electrum coinage. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Quadripartite incuse square of irregular form, divided into four recessed compartments by raised ridges meeting at the center, characteristic of early Greek hammered coinage technique. The incuse is deeply impressed and displays a rough, granular surface texture within each quadrant. This standard mill-sail or windmill incuse punch reverse is typical of Kyzikene electrum staters throughout the series, serving primarily as the anvil die countermark to secure the flan during striking. No legend or additional device is present. |
