Obverse description Pegasos in full flight to the right, depicted with powerful musculature and detailed feathering on the outstretched wings; the foreleg is raised dynamically. The mythological winged horse is rendered in high relief in the Corinthian tradition, with fine engraving of the mane and tail. A small symbol appears in the lower field beneath the creature. The flan is of irregular round form with a smooth, lightly worn field typical of hammered Corinthian-type coinage.
