| Obverse description | Bearded male head in right-facing profile, crowned with an ivy wreath, executed in fine archaic high relief characteristic of Kyzikene electrum coinage. The facial features display the stylised yet naturalistic rendering typical of late archaic Greek die-cutting. Below the neck truncation, the civic emblem of Kyzikos — a tunny fish (Thunnus thynnus) — is depicted swimming to the left, serving as the standard series identifier for this emission. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or inscription. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square of skewed windmill (swastika) pattern, deeply impressed into the flan and divided into four triangular compartments by raised diagonal ridges meeting at the centre. Each compartment exhibits irregular granular texture resulting from the striking process. The deeply sunk incuse technique, standard for early Greek electrum coinage of the Kyzikene series, served both as a functional anti-counterfeiting measure and as a means of ensuring even metal distribution across the flan. No legend or additional device is present. |
