| Reverse description | A nude slinger strides vigorously to the right, his body in mid-motion as he prepares to release a sling-bolt, rendered in bold relief with athletic musculature. To the right of the figure, a triskeles symbol is depicted with its three running legs rotating clockwise. The entire composition is enclosed within a rectangular frame composed of a border of pellets. The dynamic pose of the slinger and the geometric framing are hallmarks of the distinctive Aspendian civic coinage of the 4th century BC. |
