Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, advancing to right in a graceful striding pose, her torso shown in three-quarter view facing the observer. She holds a long taenia (fillet or ribbon) horizontally across her body, grasping one end with her raised left hand and extending the other with her outstretched right hand. Her drapery falls in fine, naturalistic folds characteristic of the early Classical period. The abbreviated ethnic F A appears in the field. The entire type is struck in shallow incuse relief, a hallmark of early Elean coinage technique.
