Obverse description Pegasus in full flight to the right, rendered with fine sculptural detail in the Corinthian tradition; the wings are raised and prominently spread, with individual feathers carefully articulated. The mythical winged horse is depicted in a vigorous galloping pose, forelegs extended forward and hindlegs trailing. In the lower field beneath the body, the archaic Corinthian letter koppa (Ϙ) appears as a mint control symbol, here rendered in its characteristic circular form with a descending stem. The composition fills the broad, slightly irregular flan characteristic of early fourth-century Corinthian coinage.
