| Obverse description | A frog rendered in high relief, depicted in full dorsal view facing upward, with four limbs outstretched symmetrically and the characteristic rounded body of the species prominently modeled. The creature occupies the majority of the flan, its detailed anatomy — including articulated toes and swollen abdomen — executed in the archaic Greek style. No legend or inscription appears in the field. The type is the celebrated civic emblem of Seriphos, one of the most distinctive animal types in early Greek coinage. |

| Reverse description | A deep incuse square, produced by the punch technique characteristic of early Archaic Greek coinage, subdivided into five distinct raised and recessed segments by diagonal and orthogonal lines meeting at a central point, creating a geometric mill-sail or windmill pattern. The interior sections alternate between raised and sunken planes, giving the design a strong chiaroscuro effect. No inscription or additional device is present. This type of incuse reverse is typical of Cycladic island mints of the late sixth century BC. |
