Obverse description The winged horse Pegasus in full flight to the left, rendered with finely detailed musculature and outstretched wings, the mane flowing forward. The bridle is visible about the head, and the forelegs are extended in a characteristic Corinthian flying gallop pose. In the lower field beneath the body appears the Corinthian magistrate's symbol, the archaic koppa (Ϙ), serving as a control mark.
