Reverse description A finely modelled horse stands to the right in a composed, naturalistic pose, its left foreleg drawn slightly back as if at rest or mid-stride, with the mane rendered in detailed parallel engraved lines flowing along the arched neck. The muscular body is depicted with confident high-relief workmanship characteristic of Carthaginian electrum coinage of the early third century BC. A dotted border runs along the upper periphery of the field, as visible on the die. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or exergual inscription.
