背面描述	The reverse presents a partially frontal figure of Hermes, nude except for the broad-brimmed petasos upon his head and a chlamys draped over his shoulders, striding to the left in a dynamic three-quarter pose. In his raised right hand he holds the kerykeion, his divine attribute, while his left arm cradles the infant Arkas, the mythological ancestor of the Arcadians. Hermes turns his head back to the right to meet the gaze of the child, who reaches upward toward the god's face with his right hand, evoking the mythological narrative of Hermes delivering Arkas to his foster parents. The ethnic inscription ΦΕΝΕΩΝ appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Pheneos in Arcadia.
