Obverse description Pegasus in full flight to left, depicted with forelegs extended and wings raised, rendered in bold relief characteristic of early fourth-century Corinthian coinage. The winged horse is shown with fine detail in the musculature and feathering of the wings. Below the body, the archaic Corinthian magistrate's mark koppa (Ϙ) appears in the field, serving as the civic identifier of Corinth. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of the hammered technique of the period.
