| Obverse description | Facing Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, with characteristic cut-out lunate openings at left and right sides of the central boss. The shield's convex body dominates the flan, its broad rim defined by a raised border. The design is executed with bold simplicity characteristic of early fourth-century Boeotian coinage, with the shield's surface showing the broad, slightly domed form of the hoplon. |

| Reverse description | An amphora depicted in the center of a shallow incuse concave circle, with a club above and two ivy leaves with a berry pendant hanging from the right handle. The incuse square has evolved into a recessed concave circle, a transitional feature of this period of Boeotian League coinage. The inscription BO IΩ (abbreviation for BOIΩTΩN) is distributed in the field flanking the amphora, serving as the ethnic identifier of the issuing league. The reverse type, combining the amphora with Herakles' club and Dionysiac ivy, reflects the religious symbolism of the Boeotian federal coinage. |
