Obverse description Draped bust of a female divinity facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed coiffure; the hair is elaborately dressed in undulating waves swept back and gathered at the nape in a large rolled knot. She wears a triple-pendant earring and a beaded necklace, both rendered with careful attention to ornamental detail. The modeling of the facial features is accomplished in the refined Classical Greek style, with a delicate profile, gently arched brow, and softly delineated lips. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription. The flan edge is irregular, characteristic of the hammered coinage of Lampsakos.
