| Opis rewersu | A quadripartite incuse square formed by two deeply recessed channels crossing at right angles, dividing the reverse field into four equal sunken compartments. Each quadrant displays a roughly granular, slightly concave surface resulting from the hammered incuse technique employed in early Greek coinage. The incuse square fills the majority of the flan, with no additional devices, inscriptions, or ornamental elements present. This type of reverse is characteristic of archaic Macedonian silver issues of the early Classical period. |
