Reverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head with the bowl prominent and the cheekpieces clearly delineated, the neck protected by a broad guard decorated with incised detail. The goddess's hair escapes in curling locks beneath the helmet brim. To the right of the head in the field appears an olive wreath rendered in fine incuse relief, serving as a secondary symbol. The ethnic legend ΛΕΥ is inscribed in the upper field, identifying the issuing city of Leukas. The reverse is struck within a shallow incuse square typical of Corinthian-type coinage of this period.
