Obverse description Pegasos in flight to the left, with beautifully rendered outstretched wings and curving neck, the foreleg raised and tail streaming gracefully behind. The mythological winged horse is depicted in a dynamic, spirited pose characteristic of early fourth-century Corinthian-style coinage. The ethnic legend ΛΕΥ appears in the lower left field, identifying the issuing city of Leukas. The design is boldly struck on an irregular flan, with fine detail preserved in the wing feathers and musculature of the horse.

Reverse description Helmeted head of Athena in left profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with finely rendered curling locks of hair visible beneath the brim. The goddess's features are sculpted with confident archaic-to-early classical style, exhibiting a strong jaw and prominent nose. To the right of the neck, a small symbol consisting of a winged figure above a mushroom or bucranium serves as a secondary control mark. The monogram Λ appears in the field. The reverse is set within a shallow incuse square typical of early Acarnanian coinage.
