Obverse description Bearded winged male deity — likely a representation of a wind god or heroic figure — depicted in the canonical kneeling-running posture (knielauf) to left, with both hands raised to grasp a solar disc or wheel. The musculature and wings are rendered in the bold, archaic Greco-Persian style characteristic of Cilician coinage of the late 5th century BC. The figure occupies the full field of the flan, with no legend or border.
