附加信息	Phaselis occupied an unusually mercantile position among Lycian coastal cities — founded as a Rhodian colony, it operated three separate harbors and charged differential port duties depending on which anchorage merchants used. The city maintained commercial ties across the eastern Mediterranean that most of its neighbors could not match, and its early silver coinage circulated accordingly far from home. Hoards containing Phaselian staters have turned up in Egypt and the Levant, almost certainly carried there by the trading networks the city depended on. The GCV 3586 type belongs to the archaic phase of Phaselian minting, before the city fell under Persian administrative pressure following the Achaemenid consolidation of Anatolia after 546 BC.
