Beschrijving voorzijde Eagle of Zeus in bold high relief, depicted in full flight to the right with wings dramatically spread, its feathers rendered in fine radiating lines characteristic of the early Classical style. The raptor firmly clutches a hare in its talons, the prey's body rendered beneath the eagle's breast in convincing detail. The flan is broad and irregularly shaped, with the design filling the field to the edges. A small pellet or control mark is visible in the upper left field. The composition conveys the supreme power of Zeus through his sacred bird, a hallmark emblem of the sanctuary at Olympia.

Beschrijving keerzijde A thunderbolt of Zeus depicted frontally and in high relief at the centre of a shallow incuse square, its central shaft rising into a feathered finial rendered with striated detail. Two large symmetrical volutes (spiral scrolls) flank the upper portion of the thunderbolt, while a pair of curved wings or flame-like projections emerge from the lower section, giving the device a balanced, heraldic composition. The retrograde archaic Greek letters F (digamma) and A (alpha) appear in the field to the left and right respectively, likely representing an abbreviated ethnic or magistrate's name associated with the sanctuary of Zeus at Olympia. The incuse field surrounding the device is finely granulated.
