Descrizione del rovescio	A hoplite warrior depicted in the kneeling-right stance, wearing a Corinthian helmet and a short chiton, holding a long spear in his right hand and bearing a round hoplon shield on his left arm. The figure is rendered with careful attention to musculature and military equipment, reflecting the strong Hellenic artistic influence prevalent at Tarsus during the late fifth and early fourth centuries BC. A grain ear appears in the right field as a subsidiary symbol. The entire design is contained within a dotted square border set within a shallow incuse square, a hallmark of Cilician stater production of this period. The Aramaic inscription appears within the design field.
