| Opis rewersu | A quadripartite incuse square divided by raised ridges into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size, each with an irregular granular surface resulting from the punch strike. The design is entirely geometric, with no additional devices or inscriptions, conforming to standard archaic Greek reverse types in which the incuse serves purely as a mechanical counterpart to the obverse die. The incuse is deeply impressed and retains sharp ridge definition despite the worn flan surfaces visible on this example. |
