The Euboian League was a federal alliance of the island's major poleis — Chalkis, Eretria, Histiaia, and others — whose coins circulated across a commercially active stretch of the Aegean during the fourth century. The League's staters were struck to the Euboiic weight standard, which also underpinned the coinage of Corinth and several western Greek colonies, giving these pieces broader transactional reach than purely local issues.
