Obverse description Pegasos in full flight to the left, rendered in vigorous relief with both wings prominently spread and all four legs extended in a galloping posture. The bridle and flowing mane are carefully detailed, conveying a sense of dynamic motion characteristic of Corinthian-type coinage. The Greek letter alpha (Α) appears in the lower field beneath the creature, serving as the civic symbol of Argos Amphilochikon. The flan is irregular in form, as is typical of hammered Greek silver of this period.

Reverse description Helmeted head of Athena in left-facing profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, with detailed cheekpieces and a flowing crest visible above the brow. Her hair is rendered in loose curls emerging beneath the helmet, and fine facial features reflect accomplished die-cutting in the Corinthian tradition. The Greek letter alpha (Α) is placed in the upper field above the head, and a winged thunderbolt appears to the right in the field as an identifying civic symbol. The overall composition is bold and well-centered within the irregularly shaped flan.
