Reverse description A tripod cauldron with three legs resting on a rocky exergual line, the bowl surmounted by a large wreath or garland tied at the top with a loop and flanked by two upright handles. A serpent winds around the shaft of the tripod between the legs. To the right of the tripod a small floral or rosette symbol appears as a mint control mark. The ethnic legend ΦΙΛΙΠΠΩΝ is inscribed vertically along the left field in Greek characters.
