Obverse description Bearded head of Dionysos facing right, crowned with a wreath of ivy leaves and berries. The hair falls in thick, curling locks behind the neck, rendered in the archaic-to-early classical Cilician style. The facial features are boldly modelled with a broad nose and full beard, characteristic of the god's mature iconography as employed by the Nagidan mint.
