Obverse description Head of the nymph Terina facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and bound with a diadem or sphendone, rendered in fine Early Classical style. The hair falls in richly detailed waves and curls at the nape of the neck, and the facial features are modelled with sensitive naturalism. A dotted border encircles the design, and the ethnic legend ΤΕΡΙΝΑ appears in Greek characters distributed around the field.

Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, standing facing left in a long chiton, her large, finely feathered wing spread prominently to the right. She extends her left arm forward holding a wreath, while her right arm rests at her side; a staff or kerykeion may be held in her lowered hand. The figure is rendered in the severe Early Classical manner with crisp drapery folds, and the whole composition is enclosed within a dotted border.
