| 背面描述 | A slinger strides vigorously to the right, his body shown in three-quarter view with his arm drawn back and the sling loaded, poised to release a projectile. The figure is rendered with energetic movement, the drapery or musculature suggested in the archaic Pamphylian style. To the right of the slinger stands a triskeles symbol, a three-legged rotating motif. In the field or along the periphery appears the Pamphylian Greek legend ΕΣΤFΕΔΙΙΥΣ, the archaic spelling of Aspendos, identifying the issuing city. The reverse design is enclosed within a shallow incuse square typical of hammered silver coinage of this period. |
