背面描述 Helmeted head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, rendered in fine classical Greek style with well-modeled facial features. To the right of the goddess's neck, the letter Λ (Lambda) appears alongside what appears to be a caduceus or similar symbol, serving as a magistrate's or mint mark. The portrait displays the characteristic high relief and artistic refinement associated with Akarnanian coinage of this period.

附加信息

Leukas, the Corinthian colony on the Akarnanian coast, operated one of the more prolific western Greek mints producing Pegasus staters — a coinage type so widely distributed across the Adriatic and into Illyria that scholars have used die-linkage studies to reconstruct mint output sequences across the entire region. The Corinthian colonial staters circulated as a trusted trade currency well beyond their issuing cities, partly because Corinth's commercial reach made the type recognizable from Sicily to the Black Sea.

The SNG Copenhagen 345 variant designation suggests a die combination not precisely matching the primary sequence — worth noting for collectors tracking the Leukas series against Ravel's foundational die study.
