| Reverse description | Large square incuse punch divided into five compartments by raised ridges forming a skew or mill-sail pattern: four rectangular sections in the upper portion and a diagonal bisecting line creating triangular sub-divisions in the lower right quadrant. The incuse is deeply struck and rectilinear, set within the plain round field of the flan. This distinctive divided square incuse is the hallmark of Aeginetan coinage of the classical period, serving as both a technical feature and an aesthetic identifier. No inscriptions or additional devices appear. |
