Reverse description A large krater (mixing vessel) rendered in fine detail occupies the central field, with a beaded rim, flared neck, and two volute handles adorned with pendant attachments. Above the krater, the retrograde or split legend EYΔ O-X/E-P identifying the magistrate Eudoxos and the ethnic of Orchomenos is distributed around the vessel. To the left of the krater appears the letter O, and to the lower right the letters E and P flanking the foot of the vessel, with a caduceus or similar symbol visible to the right. The composition is characteristic of Orchomenian civic coinage of the early fourth century BC, combining the civic emblem with magistrate identification.
