Obverse description Pegasus depicted in flight, bounding to the right with wings raised, rendered in bold archaic relief. The body is compact and muscular, with detailed wing feathering visible across the flan. Below the figure, the koppa (Ϙ), the archaic Corinthian letter serving as civic identifier, appears in the lower field. The composition fills the irregularly shaped flan characteristic of early Corinthian stater coinage.
