Obverse description Pegasus in full flight to the left, depicted with outstretched wings rendered in fine feather detail and forelegs raised in a dynamic bridle pose. The mythological winged horse is modelled in high relief with strong musculature and a finely articulated mane. Beneath the figure, in the lower field, the civic mint abbreviation ΛΟ (for Lokroi) is inscribed in incuse Greek characters. The composition fills the flan with confident Classical Greek engraving style, characteristic of South Italian Corinthian-type coinage.
