Obverse description Stylized laureate head of Apollo in profile facing right, rendered in the abstract La Tène artistic tradition characteristic of Gaulish coinage. The facial features are schematically treated, with deeply incised lines suggesting the hair and facial contours in a fluid, curvilinear manner. The flan is irregular, typical of hand-struck Celtic issues of this period. The design derives ultimately from Macedonian prototypes but is thoroughly transformed through Gaulish artistic conventions.

Reverse description A human-headed horse galloping to the right, a vestigial charioteer figure visible behind, reduced to schematic linear elements — a hallmark of Gaulish stylistic abstraction. Above the horse, a circle of pellets surrounding a central pellet, likely a solar or celestial symbol. Beneath the horse, an outstretched hand rendered in relief, a distinctive iconographic element associated with certain Gaulish tribal issues. The overall composition reflects the progressive stylization of Greek Macedonian stater prototypes as adopted and reinterpreted by the Santoni tribe of western Gaul.
