正面描述 Chimaera depicted in left-facing profile, rendered in bold archaic relief characteristic of early Ionian die-cutting. The mythological composite creature displays a lion's muscular body in a striding or standing posture, with a goat's head rising from the dorsal region and a serpentine tail curling upward at the hindquarters. The execution is vigorous and schematic, consistent with the earliest traditions of Greek civic coinage, with surface granularity typical of the electrum alloy's struck face. No legend or inscription is present in the field.

背面描述 Two deeply punched incuse squares of markedly unequal size occupy the reverse field, their recessed surfaces divided by raised ridges in a rough cruciform pattern characteristic of early archaic punch technique. The larger square dominates the right-centre of the flan, while a smaller square is punched to its left; both exhibit an irregular, striated interior consistent with the use of a hand-held punch tool. This type of multiple incuse square reverse is diagnostic of the earliest period of electrum coinage in western Asia Minor, circa 600–550 BC. No legend, symbol, or additional device is present.
